To guarantee that your flag display is active for an upcoming holiday, new subscription orders must be placed at least two weeks prior to that holiday. This strict lead time is required by law to file and complete mandatory 811 underground utility safety clearances before we drill or install your custom ground sleeve, as well as to build efficient neighborhood deployment routes. If you miss the two-week deadline, don't worry—you won't lose a single holiday! We will process your 811 utility check immediately following the holiday and launch your service with the very next scheduled holiday on our calendar. Because subscriptions run on a full 12-month annual cycle, you will still receive all five scheduled holiday displays paid for before your account ever comes up for renewal.
-
Subscriptions run on an annual cycle from the date you sign up and cover your next consecutive holiday installations. If you subscribe midway through the year, your service carries forward to complete your full set of holiday displays.
-
Typically, flags are placed in the front yard near the curb or sidewalk to maximize neighborhood impact and consistency down the street. If you have a specific placement preference (such as avoiding utility lines, tree roots, or a particular landscaping feature), please let us know when subscribing, and we will do our best to accommodate it.
-
If the flags are placed together, it is recommended they be spaced 6 feet apart.
-
When displayed with the Texas flag, the US flag is to be placed to the observers left.
-
We kindly ask that you water your lawn thoroughly in the days leading up to the holiday setup period. Softening the soil makes the ground-sleeve installation smoother and faster, ensuring your flags are perfectly straight and secure. The installer will need access to the exterior electrical outlet on the property to power installation tools during the initial setup of the ground sleeve.
-
We monitor local weather conditions closely. If severe storms or high winds are forecasted during a holiday window, we may adjust our setup or removal schedule to protect the colors. However, in the event of extreme weather like an approaching hurricane, we kindly ask that you pull the flagpole out of the ground and bring the flag indoors to protect it from damage or loss. You can easily slide it back into place once the storm passes.
